Stellantis Sells Free2move, Focuses on Core Auto Business, Jeep Dodge Chrysler MOPAR Parts Strategy Clear

On July 28, 2026, Stellantis reached an agreement with Mutares SE & Co. KGaA to sell its entire stake in the Free2move car-sharing business to Mutares. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

Free2move is a car-sharing service platform under Stellantis that offers short- and long-term "free-floating" services, allowing users to make 24/7 reservations via a mobile app. Operating across 14 cities in Europe and the United States, it stands as one of the most geographically extensive shared mobility platforms.

This divestiture is a key component of Stellantis's "FaSTLAne 2030 Strategic Plan."
