Stellantis projects global shipments of 1.6 million units for the second quarter of 2026, a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This growth is primarily driven by the North American and European markets. In North America, shipments rose by approximately 122,000 units (up 38%) year-over-year. This increase was largely fueled by the sales performance of new or refreshed models, such as the Ram 1500 (Light Duty) HEMI V8, the new Ram 1500 TRX SRT, the refreshed Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee, the refreshed Chrysler Pacifica, and the all-new Jeep Cherokee and Dodge Charger SIXPACK (two-door and four-door versions). The figures also reflect preparations for scheduled summer production shutdowns. In Europe, shipments increased by approximately 39,000 units (up 5%) year-over-year. Specifically, new models from Stellantis brands based on the Smart Car platform (including the Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross, Opel/Vauxhall Frontera, and Fiat Grande Panda) contributed an additional 41,000 units (a 51% increase), while the all-new Jeep Compass added approximately 8,000 units in the C-segment. However, this growth was partially offset by a decline of approximately 28,000 units in shipments of traditional B-segment SUVs (including the Jeep Avenger, Fiat 600, Opel Mokka, and Peugeot 2008). Additionally, shipments of Leapmotor-branded vehicles reached 33,000 units—an increase of 25,000 units year-over-year—driven primarily by demand for the T03 and B10 models. Shipments in the Middle East and Africa region fell by approximately 4,000 units (down 3%) year-over-year, primarily due to regional conflicts. While the Algerian market saw an increase of approximately 8,000 units driven by rising sales of the Fiat Doblo, and the Moroccan market also experienced slight growth, these gains were offset by a decline of approximately 8,000 units in the Turkish market and a roughly 50% drop in shipments to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Shipments in South America decreased by approximately 7,000 units (down 3%) year-over-year. The Brazilian market benefited from a favorable industry environment, with shipments increasing by approximately 21,000 units; however, this was offset by declines in other markets such as Argentina, where shipments fell by about 25,000 units. Shipments in the Asia-Pacific region remained flat at 16,000 units, consistent with the same period in 2025.
